What it does
Populate a whole store's descriptions without hand-writing every one, safely.
Short & long descriptions
Generates the blurb near the price and the main body from the product's own name, attributes, and categories, with tone, length, and keyword controls so the copy sells rather than just repeats specs.
Bulk, with review
Generate for a filtered slice of the catalogue (by category, stock status, or "missing description only") into a staging area. A resumable queue lets you accept, skip, or edit each result before anything is written.
Store-safe by default
AltoScribe never overwrites a description that already has content unless you tick "Replace", and the last apply can be undone in one click. Safe to run across a live store.
No API key. We host the AI.
Every other AI product-description plugin makes you sign up for an AI provider, generate your own API key, and pay them separately. WooCommerce has no built-in equivalent to Shopify's writer. AltoScribe doesn't. The AI runs on our backend, so it works the instant you activate the plugin: nothing to configure, nothing extra to pay for. That's the whole point.

Start free from the WordPress.org directory. Upgrade for larger catalogues; top up with one-off credits for a big import. Prices exclude VAT (added at checkout for UK buyers); annual saves ~17%.
